Brandon Logo Design

Every new Brandon company knows they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the vital role their logo design will make in their becoming successful, or why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo design has a critical and long-term impact on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Brandon businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Brandon coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an older section of the area and really wanted to cast a retro feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by means of designing a symbol concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Brandon clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family enjoyable facility in Brandon.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Brandon traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Brandon logo but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Brandon logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced judgements on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of hurdles, however the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Brandon book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most crucial part of a published book considering that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many instances 1 of the things people often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

Brandon logo design utilized for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Brandon, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it appears that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which projected a spirit of contentment and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is in most cases the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo design a tiny restaurant, style includes a changed script typeface which hovers over a group of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software program designer the design attributes and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

logo design provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in middle of the word advanced have actually been changed to connect directly into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Brandon logo design project was done for a management advisor that helps business professionals to become more successful at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Brandon business logo dsign using an image which seizes the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually developed for an Brandon regional farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this company was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to design a graphic that projected self-confidence, financial success, and wealth.
Logo developed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is similar to a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the business owner to design a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
