Brownsville Logo Design

Each and every new Brownsville company realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully comprehend the essential role their business logo will play in their financial success, or why one business logo works far better than another. A logo has an immediate and long-term impact on the financial success of a company, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Brownsville companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Brownsville coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old part of town and hoped to project an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as boring or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs by creating a business logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide as well as bacteria made for Brownsville clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I remember in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping green frog made for a family members fun facility in Brownsville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Brownsville travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Brownsville logo but also to illustrate the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Brownsville logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced assessments on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of hurdles, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Brownsville book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most vital part of a published book considering that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits individuals tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Brownsville logo design made use of for marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this brand concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Brownsville, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo which conveyed an atmosphere of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo design which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian horse logo design developed for an equine cattle ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application programmer the layout features and renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

Advance logo design created for a Brownsville indoor developer, design feature a series of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in center of the word advanced have been changed to link straight right into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Brownsville logo design project was completed for a management coach that aids business leaders to become more successful at handling people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Brownsville logo design dsign utilizing an illustration which seizes the interest of traffic and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t really developed for an Brownsville regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this particular logo design was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to produce a graphic that projected self-confidence, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo design created for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
