Buenaventura Lakes, Florida Logo Design

Each and every new Buenaventura Lakes organization realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully recognize the vital role their company logo can take in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo works more effectively than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the success of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Buenaventura Lakes, Florida companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Buenaventura Lakes, Florida coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were launching in an older part of the community and wanted to project a vintage tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these jobs via developing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Buenaventura Lakes, Florida clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members fun facility in Buenaventura Lakes, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Buenaventura Lakes, Florida travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Buenaventura Lakes logo but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Buenaventura Lakes logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get honest point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how vital a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Buenaventura Lakes, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most vital part of a printed book considering that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it seems that in many cases one of the things individuals tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of airline flight and it was definitely a success.

Buenaventura Lakes logo design used for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Instance includes an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Buenaventura Lakes, Florida, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really really love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that conveyed a spirit of relaxation and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather designed a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is in most cases the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo style created for an equine ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo design a small restaurant, design includes a changed script font which floats over a team of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo layout for a software application designer the layout functions as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Buenaventura Lakes business logo dsign using a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually developed for an Buenaventura Lakes, Florida area farm it was in reality created for a commodities broker, and this company logo was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to make a graphic that projected self-confidence, success, and luxury.

Buenaventura Lakes Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo style function for externally facing arrow as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the liberty to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye without knowing where exactly the target is. Fortunately, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo design created for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
