Cape Coral Logo Design

Each and every new Cape Coral venture knows they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the pivotal role their logo design will make in their financial success, or why one logo design functions better than another. A business logo has an instant and long-term effect on the growth of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Cape Coral businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Cape Coral coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an old part of town and wanted to visualize a nostalgic feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both of these jobs via designing a custom logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide as well as bacteria designed for Cape Coral clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members fun facility in Cape Coral.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Cape Coral travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Cape Coral logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Cape Coral logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get neutral point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo understand how vital a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of challenges, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Cape Coral book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most important part of a printed book since it is often the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems that in many instances one of the traits individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was certainly a success.

Cape Coral logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Cape Coral, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects because it appears that each and every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that projected a sense of peace and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the main focus on the perception that they wanted to project to their clients.

Logo style for a software designer the style features and also famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Cape Coral business logo dsign along with a graphic which garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually produced for an Cape Coral regional farm it was really developed for an investments broker, and this business logo was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to design a brand mark that projects assurance, success, and wealth.
Logo design developed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
