Coconut Creek, Florida Logo Design

Every new Coconut Creek business person knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners fully grasp the essential role their organization’s logo can perform in their financial success, or why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the financial success of a business, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Coconut Creek, Florida businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from labels to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be lasting and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.
Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Coconut Creek, Florida coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old part of the community and wished to cast a retro tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of developing a company logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for Coconut Creek, Florida medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the clinical assessment of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family members fun center in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Coconut Creek, Florida traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Coconut Creek logo but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Coconut Creek logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo comprehend how vital a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo job has it’s portion of hurdles, but the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Coconut Creek, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most necessary part of a printed book considering that it is often the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many cases one of the items people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was certainly a victory.

Coconut Creek logo design utilized for advertising and a label design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Coconut Creek, Florida, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it seems that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which related an atmosphere of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious direction of making merely a stylized orchid but instead created a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo style developed for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a unique organization logo concept fashioned to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. By having an unique head form and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily identifiable equine breeds in the entire world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo design a little dining establishment, style consists of a customized manuscript font which floats above a team of ornate lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software programmer the style functions and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Coconut Creek business logo dsign using an image that captures the attention of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually developed for an Coconut Creek, Florida regional farm it was actually devised for a products broker, and this particular logo design was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to develop a brand mark that projects trust, effectiveness, and luxury.

Coconut Creek Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo design feature for ostensibly facing arrow and the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design that they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the freedom to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design made for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is similar to a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
