Dania Beach, Florida Logo Design

Virtually every new Dania Beach organization realizes that they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the crucial role their company logo can take in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo works far better than another. A logo has an immediate and sustaining impact on the success of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Dania Beach, Florida businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.
Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Dania Beach, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an old part of the town and hoped to project a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both jobs via creating a company logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria designed for Dania Beach, Florida medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a family members fun facility in Dania Beach, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Dania Beach, Florida travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Dania Beach logo design but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Dania Beach logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective judgements on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s portion of obstacles, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Dania Beach, Florida book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a published book given that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it seems that in many cases one of the aspects consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was definitely a victory.

Dania Beach logo layout utilized for advertising and a tag layout for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Dania Beach, Florida, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it seems that almost every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that projected a spirit of contentment and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious direction of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a business logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is oftentimes the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the attention on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software application designer the layout features and famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell off their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Dania Beach business logo dsign along with a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.

Dania Beach Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I nailed a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo design designed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
