East Pensacola Heights, Florida Logo Design

Every new East Pensacola Heights organization understands that they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully realize the essential role their logo can play in their financial success, or why one business logo works better than another. A logo has an immediate and long-term effect on the growth of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help East Pensacola Heights, Florida businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to movie screens a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be enduring and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a East Pensacola Heights, Florida coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an older part of the community and wanted to visualize an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks by creating a symbol concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria developed for East Pensacola Heights, Florida clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping green frog designed for a family members fun facility in East Pensacola Heights, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for East Pensacola Heights, Florida traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  East Pensacola Heights logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

East Pensacola Heights logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo comprehend how vital a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for East Pensacola Heights, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, however it is the most critical part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many cases one of the things consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was definitely a victory.

East Pensacola Heights logo style used for advertising as well as a label design for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in East Pensacola Heights, Florida, style include an arc with lines intersecting with it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which projected a sense of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious direction of designing simply a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is generally the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo style for a software programmer the design functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to market their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their East Pensacola Heights business logo dsign using an illustration that captures the interest of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really developed for an East Pensacola Heights, Florida regional farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this company was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to make a graphic that projected self-confidence, financial success, and affluence.

East Pensacola Heights Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style feature for ostensibly facing arrow and the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design that they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without understanding where the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo design designed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
