Fort Pierce, Florida Logo Design

Virtually every new Fort Pierce venture knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully recognize the pivotal role their organization logo can perform in their success, or the reason that one business logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and long-term influence on the financial success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Fort Pierce, Florida companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Fort Pierce, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an old section of town and wished to project a vintage feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by developing a sign concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for Fort Pierce, Florida clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the laboratory assessment of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family enjoyable center in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Fort Pierce, Florida traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fort Pierce logo but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Fort Pierce logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral judgements on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo understand how important a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of difficulties, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Fort Pierce, Florida book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects consumers tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to confering a spirit of airline flight and it was definitely a success.

Fort Pierce logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label layout for Vintage Situation includes an archaic typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this logo design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Fort Pierce, Florida, style consist of an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really really love doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo that carried a sense of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Logo design for a software programmer the design attributes as well as famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Fort Pierce logo design dsign with an illustration which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Fort Pierce, Florida area farm it was actually designed for a commodities broker, and this particular company logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. Fort Pierce Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo layout feature for ostensibly dealing with arrow and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the opportunity to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without knowing where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design made for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to create a business logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
