Fort Pierce, Florida Logo Design

Every new Fort Pierce organization realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully understand the pivotal role their logo can make in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo design functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and long term effect on the financial success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Fort Pierce, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Fort Pierce, Florida coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an older part of town and wished to project a nostalgic vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by means of creating a company logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Fort Pierce, Florida clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the clinical assessment of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog developed for a family members enjoyable center in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Fort Pierce, Florida travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fort Pierce logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Fort Pierce logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective viewpoints on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo comprehend how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of obstacles, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Fort Pierce, Florida publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most important part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems that in many instances one of the things individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a sense of air travel and it was surely a victory.

Fort Pierce logo layout utilized for advertising as well as a label design for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Fort Pierce, Florida, style include an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo which projected an atmosphere of contentment and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of making simply a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a business logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo style for a software developer the layout functions as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Fort Pierce logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually developed for an Fort Pierce, Florida regional farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they would like, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the freedom to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without understanding where the target is. Fortunately, in this instance, I nailed a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design designed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
