Fruit Cove, Florida Logo Design

Every new Fruit Cove business realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners fully understand the pivotal role their business logo can play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo functions better than another. A business logo has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Fruit Cove, Florida businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Fruit Cove, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an older section of the area and hoped to cast an old-fashioned feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two jobs via developing a company logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Fruit Cove, Florida clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable facility in Fruit Cove, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - developed for Fruit Cove, Florida travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fruit Cove logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Fruit Cove logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective opinions on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how crucial a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of obstacles, but the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Fruit Cove, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a printed book since it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many cases 1 of the items consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Fruit Cove logo design used for advertising as well as a label style for Vintage Situation includes an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Fruit Cove, Florida, layout consist of an arc with lines converging with it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it seems that each and every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually really love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which projected a sense of peace and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious route of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is oftentimes the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo design for a software program developer the style features and also famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Fruit Cove logo dsign utilizing a graphic which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t really composed for an Fruit Cove, Florida regional farm it was in reality created for a commodities broker, and this particular company logo was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to produce a graphic that projected self-assurance, financial success, and opulence.

Fruit Cove Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design function for ostensibly dealing with arrowhead and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the freedom to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design created for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
