STRATEGIES FOR FINDING THE RIGHT LOGO DESIGNER

BUDGET

A logo design is an investment in both your time and your money so whenever a design company presents a money back guarantee try to keep in mind that they can not refund the amount of time you commit which is much more valuable than your money is.

PORTFOLIO

Many designers talk a good game but ultimately a design agency can only be determined by the quality of their portfolio, if the work in their design portfolio doesn’t feature actual examples chances are they will not be able to deliver a top quality logo design.

VISION

A logo’s goal is to be recognized and remembered, and it’s objective is to reflect your personal vision for your business. If a designer isn’t focused on fulfilling your vision, the thing they are really focused on is how fast they can get paid.

Hialeah Gardens LOGO DESIGN

For over two decades ImageCo has been helping business owners develop notable brands. We’ve performed brand identity design work for mechanics, universities, diamond miners, wedding singers, restaurants, retailers, and practically every other kind of business you can imagine. What makes us different compared to typical graphic designers is that our background is rooted in the electrical sign industry so we undertake every branding project as if it will be used as an electric sign. Because of our sign first technique our identity designs can, and have been utilized in everything from garment labels to neon signs. Our sign first method guarantees that our logo designs are equally effective whether they are used in TV commercials or website apps, they are consistently recognizable, comprehended, and remembered no matter of size or use.

American Made ★ Design

The thing which really sets ImageCo apart from many of the design agencies that you might possibly have come across on-line, companies like Thumbtack, Design Hill, Upwork, or Crowdspring is that each and every project we are contracted to perform, we perform ourselves. Regardless of the type of design project we take on, brand identity design, web page, trade show display, or electric sign, we do not, and never will farm-out our customer’s work to contractors based outside the US. When you phone us at 1-855-IMAGECO the party that picks up the phone is ImageCo’s owner and designer, not an agent that marks up the cost of your project and imposes the terms of how you and I conduct business.

ASPECTS OF A GREAT LOGO DESIGN

Every new Hialeah Gardens company realizes that they need a logo, but few new business owners fully recognize the pivotal role their company logo can play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting influence on the viability of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Hialeah Gardens companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not need contemplation, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from clothing labels to retail signs a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they feel personal, and they are suitable for the product or company they brand.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be ageless and should feel equally relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

understanding branding

Brand – It’s a verb and also a noun, it is an identifying mark and the process of denoting something to make sure that it could be identified, its genesis originates from the mark burned onto animals. Nowadays a brand represents virtually anything with an intention, regardless of whether it be profit or government agencies, a brand is an innate aspect of specifying the worth of something in the customer’s mind.

Branding – Is sort of like marketing and advertising’s sexy cousin, they are each from the same family, the difference being that marketing and advertising are about making a promise and branding’s goal is to deliver on that promise. Branding is also a calculated popularity contest targeted at a specific audience, it’s objective is to develop an image that the target market can identify with.

Brand Image – An image planted and cultivated through advertising and marketing as well as identity design. When a person says the brand names Ferrari or Mustang what we consider is their brand image, it’s a picture that exists in our minds. That image isn’t an image of an automobile with 4 wheels that can transport us from point A to point B, the the mental image we have (or at least I have) is of speed, elegance, of something dangerous and unique . That is brand image and brand image is what makes individuals want those products. Brand image is why people purchase specific brands, from Pepsi to Coke Chevy or Ford, Democrats or Republicans … all driven by brand images that people can relate to.

Branding Firms – If you look back at the origin of a lot of branding companies you’ll find that they are often rebranded marketing and advertising companies. When someone says they are in advertising and marketing most individuals will likely have a preconceived notion about what they do. Yet when somebody states “I’m in branding”… it simply seems more attractive, perhaps it’s since lots of people don’t recognize what it implies to be in branding so it comes off as mysterious and kind of attractive.

Brand Identity – Is an inclusive term that explains the visual aspects of a product or agency that influence view points. This largely consists of the name, the logo design, the packaging, the colors utilized however can also consist of audio, lighting, texture, signs, actually anything that can be seen, felt or heard become part of a brand identity.

Brand Identity Designer
– A brand identity designer is a designer that specializes in a kind of visual design which helps form the perception of a company, a product or an organization. Brand identity designers create logo designs, signage designs, product packaging, as well as collateral material such as business cards, stationery, and pamphlets. Some identity designers also build websites as well as software interfaces. The important function of a brand identity designer is to establish the visual cues as well as an emotional tone with the goal of influencing activities, end results and understandings.

select logos & signs

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Hialeah Gardens coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an older section of the town and really wanted to project a nostalgic atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks via designing a company logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Hialeah Gardens clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable facility in Hialeah Gardens.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Hialeah Gardens traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Hialeah Gardens logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Hialeah Gardens logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased assessments on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Hialeah Gardens publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most vital part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects consumers usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was definitely a winner.

Hialeah Gardens logo style used for advertising and a label layout for Vintage Case features an antiquated font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be older cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Hialeah Gardens, layout include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a Hialeah Gardens hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo which conveyed a feeling of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious direction of crafting merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the focus on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo design developed for an equine ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct organization logo design styled to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With a distinctive head form and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly immediately recognizable horse breeds in the entire world.

Las Cafe, A Hialeah Gardens Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, design includes a modified script typeface which hovers over a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo layout a small dining establishment, style consists of a changed manuscript typeface which hovers above a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software application developer the design attributes as well as famous Hialeah Gardens element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Develop logo design developed for a Hialeah Gardensinterior designer, design function a series of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Hialeah Gardens interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. An interior designer is a person who arranges, explores, coordinates, and oversees such tasks. Interior design is a multifaceted occupation that consists of conceptual development, space planning, site examinations, programming, investigation, interacting with the stakeholders of a project, construction supervision, and implementation of the design.

logo layout done for Advanced Leadership Solutions in Hialeah Gardens, the characters for letter V and also A in center of words advanced have actually been customized to link directly right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Hialeah Gardens logo design project was carried out for a management specialist that aids business leaders to become more successful at overseeing people, expectations, and profitability.

A Hialeah Gardens business logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts.

I designed their Hialeah Gardens logo design using a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.

Logo style MQ farms, this Hialeah Gardens company logo design has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an Hialeah Gardens area farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this brand was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to generate a graphic that projected confidence, success, and wealth.

Hialeah Gardens Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style attribute for ostensibly dealing with arrowhead and the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design that they wanted, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the opportunity to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I nailed a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design created for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is similar to a popular Hialeah Gardens sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
