Immokalee Logo Design

Every new Immokalee venture realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the vital role their company logo will play in their success, or exactly why one business logo works better than another. A business logo has a critical and lasting impact on the prosperity of a company, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Immokalee companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be realized in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Immokalee coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an old section of the city and wanted to project a nostalgic vibe without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via designing a logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and also bacteria developed for Immokalee clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in Immokalee.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Immokalee travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Immokalee logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Immokalee logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get honest opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how important a logo is for their business so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Immokalee book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most vital part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was definitely a victory.

Immokalee logo style used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this brand concept I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Immokalee, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that carried a feeling of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that did not go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo design for a software developer the layout attributes and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it represents.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Immokalee logo design dsign with an illustration which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really created for an Immokalee regional farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to generate an identity that projects trust, success, and luxury.
Logo design developed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is evocative a famous sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to create a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
