Jupiter, Florida Logo Design

Nearly every new Jupiter business person understands that they require a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly understand the key role their logo design can take in their becoming successful, or why one business logo performs better than another. A logo design has an instant and sustaining influence on the growth of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Jupiter, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to movie screens a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.
Retro logo style of a bike created for a Jupiter, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an old section of the city and wished to visualize a retro atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs by means of creating a logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Jupiter, Florida medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a household fun center in Jupiter, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Jupiter, Florida traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Jupiter logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Jupiter logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo understand how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s share of hurdles, however the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Jupiter, Florida publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most essential part of a published book considering that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Jupiter logo layout used for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an archaic typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Jupiter, Florida, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it appears that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters startled in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that conveyed a spirit of simplicity and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a business logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is frequently the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the main focus on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Logo style for a software programmer the layout functions and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Jupiter business logo dsign using an illustration which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t really composed for an Jupiter, Florida area farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to create an identity that projected trust, effectiveness, and opulence.

Jupiter Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo layout feature for ostensibly encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the flexibility to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where the target is. Luckily, in this instance, I hit a bullseye with the first shot.

Logo design made for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
