Kendall West, Florida Logo Design

Nearly every new Kendall West company realizes that they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly comprehend the key role their company logo will make in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and lasting impact on the prosperity of a business, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Kendall West, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be ageless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.
Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Kendall West, Florida coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were launching in an old section of the town and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by means of designing a company logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Kendall West, Florida medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a household fun facility in Kendall West, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Kendall West, Florida traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather project emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kendall West logo but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Kendall West logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I truly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest point of views on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design realize how important a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s share of hurdles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Kendall West, Florida book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most important part of a published book considering that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many instances one of the aspects individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of flight and it was definitely a victory.

Kendall West logo style used for advertising and also a label design for Vintage Case includes an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Kendall West, Florida, design consist of an arc with lines converging through it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design jobs because it appears that virtually every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo which related an atmosphere of calmness and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a concept that did not go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is oftentimes the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the perception that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software program programmer the layout attributes and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Kendall West business logo dsign with a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.

Kendall West Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo design feature for ostensibly dealing with arrowhead and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular instance, I nailed a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo created for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
