Miramar, Florida Logo Design

Every new Miramar company knows they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the vital role their business logo can take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has an immediate and long-term impact on the prosperity of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Miramar, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Miramar, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening in an older section of the town and wanted to project an old-fashioned atmosphere without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both tasks by creating a custom logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria developed for Miramar, Florida clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the laboratory examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog created for a household fun facility in Miramar, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Miramar, Florida travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Miramar logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Miramar logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased assessments on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of hurdles, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Miramar, Florida book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most crucial part of a published book since it is often the first thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a feeling of flight and it was surely a success.

Miramar logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an old font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Miramar, Florida, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs because it appears that every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually really love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that projected a spirit of serenity and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious route of crafting simply a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian equine logo layout produced for an equine ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind logo concept tailored to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. With a different head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable equine breeds in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo design a small restaurant, style contains a changed manuscript font style which floats over a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo design a small restaurant, design consists of a changed script typeface which hovers above a team of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software application designer the style attributes and also renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the significance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

Evolve logo design developed for a Miramar, Florida indoor designer, layout feature a series of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to sell their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Miramar logo design dsign along with a graphic which pulls in the interest of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t really created for an Miramar, Florida area farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this particular logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to produce a image that projected self-confidence, effectiveness, and prosperity.

Miramar Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly facing arrow and the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the flexibility to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo design developed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is similar to a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
