Naples Logo Design

Every new Naples organization understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully grasp the key role their logo design can make in their financial success, or the reason that one logo performs better than another. A logo has an instant and long-term effect on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Naples businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Naples coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually launching in an old part of the community and hoped to visualize a vintage atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs via creating a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Naples medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members fun center in Naples.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for Naples traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they frequently tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Naples logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Naples logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo project has it’s allotment of difficulties, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Naples publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a printed book because it is often the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was certainly a winner.

Naples logo layout used for advertising and marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Case includes an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Naples, style include an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that projected a sense of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a business logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian steed logo design produced for an equine ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny restaurant, style contains a customized script typeface which floats over a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software application programmer the layout attributes and also famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance behind a logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Naples logo design job was done for a management expert that enables business leaders to develop into more effective at handling people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Naples business logo dsign using an image that grabs the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really developed for an Naples area farm it was really created for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to develop a brand mark that projected confidence, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo created for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
