Navarre, Florida Logo Design

Every new Navarre organization realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely grasp the key role their organization logo will perform in their success, or exactly why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo has a critical and long term impact on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Navarre, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Navarre, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old section of town and hoped to cast an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by means of creating a custom logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also germs created for Navarre, Florida medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable center in Navarre, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Navarre, Florida travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Navarre logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Navarre logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get honest assessments on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo realize how vital a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Navarre, Florida book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences one of the items people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Navarre logo style made use of for marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Navarre, Florida, design include an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it seems that every single dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentistry business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that related a sense of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious route of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a company logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian horse logo style created for a steed cattle ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a distinct company logo concept styled to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. By having an unique head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly immediately recognizable horse breeds in the whole world.

Logo layout for a software application developer the style features and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Navarre logo design dsign using an illustration which garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Navarre, Florida regional farm it was actually designed for a products broker, and this company was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to make an identity that projected self-confidence, success, and opulence.

Navarre Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout attribute for outwardly facing arrowhead and also the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they would like, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the freedom to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without recognizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the first go.

Logo made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the proprietor to create a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
