North Miami Beach, Florida Logo Design

Virtually every new North Miami Beach company knows they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully grasp the essential role their organization’s logo will make in their success, or precisely why one logo performs more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help North Miami Beach, Florida companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to signboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos which function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.
Retro logo style of a bike produced for a North Miami Beach, Florida coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old section of the city and wished to cast a vintage tone without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by means of developing a sign design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and also bacteria created for North Miami Beach, Florida medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a family members fun facility in North Miami Beach, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for North Miami Beach, Florida traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Miami Beach logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

North Miami Beach logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get objective viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo design recognize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of hurdles, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for North Miami Beach, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most essential part of a published book given that it is often the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences one of the things individuals tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

North Miami Beach logo design made use of for advertising as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in North Miami Beach, Florida, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which related an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious direction of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a business logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo design for a software program developer the style attributes and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their North Miami Beach logo dsign using an illustration which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really created for an North Miami Beach, Florida area farm it was in reality devised for an investments broker, and this logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. North Miami Beach Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly facing arrow as well as the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the freedom to discover any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Fortunately, in this instance, I struck a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design made for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is similar to a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a business logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
