North Miami Logo Design

Virtually every new North Miami business understands that they need a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly understand the vital role their logo will make in their success, or exactly why one business logo functions better than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting influence on the growth of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help North Miami companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a North Miami coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an old section of town and really wanted to cast a nostalgic atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both of these jobs by means of creating a company logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also germs designed for North Miami medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recollect where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog designed for a household fun center in North Miami.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for North Miami travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Miami logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

North Miami logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their business logo realize how important a logo is for their business so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of challenges, but the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for North Miami book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the things consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

North Miami logo design used for advertising as well as a tag layout for Vintage Situation includes an archaic typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in North Miami, style include an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects because it seems that virtually every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which projected an atmosphere of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that did not go the obvious course of designing simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo layout for a software program designer the style features as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their North Miami business logo dsign along with a graphic which garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t really created for an North Miami regional farm it was in reality created for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to create a graphic that projects esteem, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design created for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to design a business logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
