Orlando Logo Design

Every new Orlando organization realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners fully comprehend the pivotal role their logo will make in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo design performs more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and long term impact on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Orlando companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Orlando coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older section of the town and wished to project a retro atmosphere without coming across as boring or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks via developing a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Orlando medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog made for a family fun center in Orlando.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Orlando traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Orlando logo but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Orlando logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo understand how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, however the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Orlando book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, however it really is the most critical part of a published book given that it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it looks like that in many instances 1 of the things folks often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

Orlando logo design made use of for advertising and a label layout for Vintage Situation includes an archaic font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Orlando, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which carried an atmosphere of simplicity and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is generally the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the focus on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo layout for a software developer the design attributes as well as famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to sell their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Orlando logo design dsign along with an image that captures the attention of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really created for an Orlando regional farm it was in reality created for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to create a graphic that projects self-confidence, success, and prosperity.
Logo designed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
