Oviedo Logo Design

Nearly every new Oviedo business realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the key role their business logo can perform in their success, or exactly why one logo works better than another. A logo has a critical and long term influence on the growth of a business, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Oviedo businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Oviedo coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an old section of town and wanted to cast an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs via developing a symbol design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria designed for Oviedo clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo style with a leaping green frog created for a household enjoyable center in Oviedo.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Oviedo travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather reveal emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Oviedo logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Oviedo logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective judgements on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of hurdles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Oviedo book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, yet it is the most crucial part of a published book since it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems that in many instances one of the aspects folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

Oviedo logo style utilized for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Oviedo, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that projected a sense of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of designing simply a stylized orchid but instead created a logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo layout created for a horse ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind business logo concept fashioned to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. With a distinctive head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily identifiable horse types in the entire world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo design a tiny restaurant, style includes a customized script font which hovers over a team of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo style for a software designer the layout features and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

Evolve logo design created for a Oviedo interior designer, design attribute a collection of red circles that converge as well as change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

logo layout provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in center of the word progressed have been customized to connect directly into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Oviedo logo design project was undertaken for a management consultant that aids business leaders to become more efficient at supervising people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Oviedo logo dsign with a graphic which seizes the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t really developed for an Oviedo regional farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this particular company was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to make a image that projected trust, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo designed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
