Palm Coast, Florida Logo Design

Each and every new Palm Coast company realizes that they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the key role their logo design can take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo design functions far better than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term impact on the growth of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Palm Coast, Florida companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Palm Coast, Florida coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an old section of the area and really wanted to cast a nostalgic atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by means of creating a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and bacteria designed for Palm Coast, Florida medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping green frog created for a family fun facility in Palm Coast, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Palm Coast, Florida travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Palm Coast logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Palm Coast logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced judgements on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design recognize how essential a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s allotment of challenges, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Palm Coast, Florida publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most crucial part of a printed book since it is often the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to confering a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Palm Coast logo layout utilized for advertising and also a tag style for Vintage Case features an antiquated font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Palm Coast, Florida, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo projects because it appears that each and every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate precisely how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which conveyed a sense of simplicity and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of making simply a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo design which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is generally the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo design for a software application designer the style functions and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Palm Coast logo design dsign along with an image which captures the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t actually produced for an Palm Coast, Florida regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. Palm Coast Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo style attribute for outwardly encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the flexibility to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without knowing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo designed for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is similar to a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the business owner to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
