Plant City Logo Design

Virtually every new Plant City venture realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the key role their logo design will perform in their financial success, or exactly why one logo performs far better than another. A logo has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Plant City businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Plant City coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an older section of the community and wanted to cast an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by means of developing a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and germs made for Plant City clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a family members fun center in Plant City.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Plant City traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Plant City logo design but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Plant City logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective judgements on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo design recognize how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of obstacles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Plant City book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most critical part of a published book because it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. With respect to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of flight and it was certainly a success.

Plant City logo layout utilized for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Case includes an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this brand design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Plant City, layout include an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it seems that every single dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo which projected an atmosphere of peace and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo style for a software application developer the layout functions and also iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Evolve logo style produced for a Plant City interior designer, design function a collection of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

logo layout done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V and also A in center of words advanced have actually been changed to tie straight into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Plant City logo design project was done for a leadership advisor that enables business leaders to develop into more efficient at supervising people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Plant City logo dsign using a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually created for an Plant City area farm it was in reality developed for an investments broker, and this company logo was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to design a brand mark that projects assurance, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is similar to a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
