South Bradenton Logo Design

Every new South Bradenton organization understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely grasp the essential role their business logo will play in their success, or why one logo works far better than another. A logo design has an immediate and long term impact on the success of a company, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help South Bradenton businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require consideration, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a South Bradenton coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an old section of the area and wanted to project a nostalgic tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by means of developing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs made for South Bradenton clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recall where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a family fun facility in South Bradenton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for South Bradenton traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  South Bradenton logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

South Bradenton logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get honest judgements on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design understand how essential a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of obstacles, however the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for South Bradenton publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most necessary part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems like that in many cases one of the items individuals usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was definitely a winner.

South Bradenton logo design made use of for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Case includes an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in South Bradenton, design include an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo which carried a sense of calmness and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious route of making merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout attributes and also legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a business logo is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell off their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their South Bradenton business logo dsign using an image that pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really developed for an South Bradenton regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this trademark was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to produce a brand mark that projected trust, success, and wealth.
Logo made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
