Tamarac, Florida Logo Design

Virtually every new Tamarac organization realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully comprehend the vital role their company logo can perform in their financial success, or why one business logo functions better than another. A logo has an immediate and sustaining effect on the financial success of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Tamarac, Florida businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Tamarac, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were opening up in an old part of the community and hoped to project a retro tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks via developing a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and germs developed for Tamarac, Florida medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which works with the clinical assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog designed for a family fun facility in Tamarac, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Tamarac, Florida travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather project emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Tamarac logo but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Tamarac logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get objective opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design understand how vital a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Tamarac, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most vital part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many cases one of the things folks tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was undoubtedly a success.

Tamarac logo layout used for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Case features an old font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Tamarac, Florida, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it seems that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually really love doing dentist logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which related a spirit of simplicity and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious route of crafting simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the main focus on the perception that they wanted to project to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo style a small dining establishment, layout includes a changed manuscript typeface which hovers over a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout functions and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Progress logo style produced for a Tamarac, Florida indoor designer, layout attribute a series of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to sell off their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Tamarac logo design dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really developed for an Tamarac, Florida regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this company was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to develop an identity that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and luxury.

Tamarac Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style attribute for outwardly dealing with arrow and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo design made for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a famous sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
