Temple Terrace Logo Design

Each and every new Temple Terrace organization knows they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully realize the key role their organization logo will perform in their becoming successful, or why one logo performs better than another. A company logo has an instant and long-term influence on the growth of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Temple Terrace companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Temple Terrace coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening up in an older section of the city and really wanted to cast a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks by designing a trademark design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and germs created for Temple Terrace clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which analyzes the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which works with the laboratory examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable facility in Temple Terrace.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - designed for Temple Terrace traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Temple Terrace logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Temple Terrace logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo design comprehend how important a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s share of hurdles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Temple Terrace book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most critical part of a published book because it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many cases one of the items people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Temple Terrace logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Instance features an old typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Temple Terrace, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to explain how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which conveyed a sense of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious route of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a company logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program developer the style functions as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Temple Terrace logo dsign along with an image that captures the attention of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t actually created for an Temple Terrace regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this company logo was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to generate a image that projected trust, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is reminiscent of a famous sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the owner to create a logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
