Valrico, Florida Logo Design

Virtually every new Valrico company realizes that they require a logo, however few new business owners fully recognize the vital role their business logo will take in their financial success, or why one business logo functions more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting influence on the growth of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Valrico, Florida companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Valrico, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an old part of the area and wished to visualize a retro atmosphere without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by means of designing a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and germs created for Valrico, Florida medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable facility in Valrico, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - made for Valrico, Florida traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Valrico logo but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Valrico logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get honest point of views on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo design project possesses it’s allotment of obstacles, but the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Valrico, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, but it is the most critical part of a printed book given that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the things individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

Valrico logo design utilized for marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Valrico, Florida, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that every single dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually enjoy doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which conveyed a sense of simplicity and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious path of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead created a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is more often than not the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the perception that they wanted to project to their customers.

Logo design for a software application designer the style features and also famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to market their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Valrico logo design dsign with an illustration which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually developed for an Valrico, Florida regional farm it was in reality developed for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to create a image that projects assurance, success, and affluence.

Valrico Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo layout attribute for externally dealing with arrow and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they would like, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the liberty to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of knowing where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo designed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is evocative a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to design a business logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
