Vero Beach, Florida Logo Design

Nearly every new Vero Beach business professional knows they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the key role their logo will perform in their success, or the reason that one business logo performs more effectively than another. A logo design has an immediate and long term impact on the viability of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Vero Beach, Florida companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to billboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be enduring and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Vero Beach, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an older part of the community and hoped to cast a retro vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks via designing a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Vero Beach, Florida medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog developed for a family members enjoyable center in Vero Beach, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Vero Beach, Florida travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Vero Beach logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Vero Beach logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get honest judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s portion of obstacles, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Vero Beach, Florida book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, yet it is the most essential part of a printed book due to the fact that it is often the primary thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many occurrences one of the things people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Vero Beach logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Instance includes an old font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Vero Beach, Florida, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects because it seems that virtually every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that communicated a feeling of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a company logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo layout for a software program designer the design functions as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell off their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Vero Beach business logo dsign along with an illustration which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t really created for an Vero Beach, Florida regional farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this trademark was one of multiple that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to design a brand mark that projects self-confidence, financial success, and opulence.

Vero Beach Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design function for externally encountering arrow and the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they wanted, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the flexibility to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo designed for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is evocative a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the owner to develop a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
