Wekiwa Springs Logo Design

Virtually every new Wekiwa Springs venture realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners entirely realize the crucial role their logo will play in their financial success, or the reason that one logo functions far better than another. A logo design has a critical and sustaining impact on the success of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Wekiwa Springs businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Wekiwa Springs coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an older part of the area and wanted to cast a nostalgic tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by means of developing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Wekiwa Springs medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a family fun facility in Wekiwa Springs.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Wekiwa Springs travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead project emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Wekiwa Springs logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Wekiwa Springs logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s share of difficulties, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Wekiwa Springs publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most vital part of a published book considering that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the items folks tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was surely a success.

Wekiwa Springs logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label style for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Wekiwa Springs, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which projected a feeling of relaxation and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of creating just a stylized orchid but rather designed a business logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is usually the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the main focus on the emotion that they wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian horse logo style developed for a steed ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a unique logotype design fashioned to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With an identifiable head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable equine types in the entire world.

Logo layout for a software program programmer the design features as well as iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

Develop logo layout developed for a Wekiwa Springs indoor developer, style attribute a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo design provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V as well as A in center of the word progressed have actually been changed to connect straight right into the words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Wekiwa Springs logo dsign utilizing an illustration which pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really designed for an Wekiwa Springs regional farm it was actually created for an investments broker, and this logo design was one of a handful of which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to make a graphic that projected confidence, success, and affluence.
Logo design made for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is similar to a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the owner to create a logo design which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
