Weston Logo Design

Nearly every new Weston organization knows they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners entirely realize the vital role their logo can perform in their financial success, or why one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long term effect on the prosperity of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Weston companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Weston coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older section of town and hoped to visualize a vintage feel without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both jobs via creating a logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and germs developed for Weston medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a family members enjoyable center in Weston.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - created for Weston traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Weston logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Weston logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get honest viewpoints on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo understand how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of obstacles, but the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Weston publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most critical part of a printed book since it is often the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was surely a winner.

Weston logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Weston, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it appears that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which communicated a feeling of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo style for a software program designer the design functions as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

Develop logo design produced for a Weston indoor designer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that intersect and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Weston logo dsign using a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t actually composed for an Weston regional farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to produce a graphic that projects trust, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo created for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to create a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
