Winter Garden Logo Design

Every new Winter Garden company knows they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely understand the essential role their organization logo will make in their success, or why one logo functions better than another. A logo has a critical and lasting influence on the prosperity of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Winter Garden companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require deliberation, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Winter Garden coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening up in an older part of town and really wanted to cast a retro feel without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both jobs via developing a symbol concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria made for Winter Garden clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable center in Winter Garden.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Winter Garden traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Winter Garden logo design but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Winter Garden logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get neutral point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo realize how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job has it’s share of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Winter Garden book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems like that in many instances one of the traits consumers usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of flight and it was certainly a victory.

Winter Garden logo design used for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Winter Garden, style include an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo that conveyed a sense of serenity and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious route of making just a stylized orchid but rather created a company logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to project to their clients.

Logo style for a software developer the layout features and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a place to sell off their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Winter Garden business logo dsign along with an image which seizes the attention of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really produced for an Winter Garden area farm it was really created for an investments broker, and this particular company was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to make a brand mark that projected confidence, financial success, and opulence.
Logo design made for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
