Winter Springs, Florida Logo Design

Nearly every new Winter Springs company knows they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully comprehend the crucial role their organization logo can play in their success, or the reason that one logo performs better than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term influence on the financial success of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Winter Springs, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Winter Springs, Florida coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old part of the city and really wanted to cast a vintage vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by creating a trademark design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs made for Winter Springs, Florida clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that examines the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Winter Springs, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Winter Springs, Florida traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Winter Springs logo but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Winter Springs logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Winter Springs, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most important part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it looks like that in many instances 1 of the traits people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a feeling of airline flight and it was certainly a success.

Winter Springs logo style made use of for marketing as well as a label layout for Vintage Situation features an old typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Winter Springs, Florida, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects because it seems that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which carried an atmosphere of calmness and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather created a company logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Logo style for a software application designer the style attributes and also legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

logo style done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in center of the word advanced have actually been modified to tie directly into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Winter Springs, Florida logo design assignment was carried out for a leadership guide that aids business leaders to become more successful at handling people, expectations, and productivity.
A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to market their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Winter Springs logo design dsign using an illustration which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really created for an Winter Springs, Florida regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this particular company logo was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to generate a image that projected esteem, financial success, and wealth.

Winter Springs Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo style feature for ostensibly encountering arrow and the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the flexibility to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this instance, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design developed for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
