Winter Springs, Florida Logo Design

Every new Winter Springs company knows they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the key role their business logo will make in their financial success, or why one business logo performs more effectively than another. A logo design has an immediate and long term influence on the success of a business, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Winter Springs, Florida companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos which function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.
Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Winter Springs, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an old part of town and really wanted to cast a retro feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs by creating a custom logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for Winter Springs, Florida medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable facility in Winter Springs, Florida.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Winter Springs, Florida travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Winter Springs logo but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Winter Springs logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of obstacles, however the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Winter Springs, Florida publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it looks like that in many instances one of the items folks tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a feeling of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Winter Springs logo style utilized for advertising as well as a tag style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this brand concept I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Winter Springs, Florida, design include an arc with lines converging through it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it seems that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that related a feeling of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is in most cases the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the focus on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo design for a software program designer the style features and renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell off their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Winter Springs logo dsign utilizing a graphic which captures the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Winter Springs, Florida area farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to make a graphic that projected trust, success, and opulence.

Winter Springs Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo layout feature for externally facing arrow and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without knowing where the target is. Luckily, in this instance, I nailed a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo design developed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
