Alpharetta Logo Design

Every new Alpharetta venture understands that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the crucial role their logo will perform in their success, or exactly why one logo design works better than another. A logo design has an instant and long term impact on the growth of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Alpharetta companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Alpharetta coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an older section of the city and hoped to cast an old-fashioned feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved the two tasks via creating a trademark design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Alpharetta medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in Alpharetta.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Alpharetta travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Alpharetta logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Alpharetta logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo design recognize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo job has it’s share of obstacles, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Alpharetta book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book because it is usually the primary thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the traits individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was certainly a success.

Alpharetta logo design used for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Case includes an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Alpharetta, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design projects because it appears that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which carried an atmosphere of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious course of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to project to their customers.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a little restaurant, style consists of a customized script font which hovers above a group of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo design for a software application developer the design features as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Progress logo style created for a Alpharetta indoor developer, layout function a collection of red circles that converge as well as change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell off their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Alpharetta logo design dsign along with an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Alpharetta area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this trademark was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce a graphic that projected assurance, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo design designed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
