Cartersville Logo Design

Every new Cartersville business knows they need a logo, but few new business owners entirely are aware of the crucial role their logo design can perform in their success, or why one business logo works more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and sustaining influence on the financial success of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Cartersville companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand contemplation, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Cartersville coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an older section of town and really wanted to project an old-fashioned tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of designing a trademark design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Cartersville medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping green frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Cartersville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Cartersville travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather project emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Cartersville logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Cartersville logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased assessments on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Cartersville book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits consumers usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was definitely a success.

Cartersville logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Instance features an old typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Cartersville, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs because it appears that virtually every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that carried a sense of serenity and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious route of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is more often than not the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo design developed for a steed ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a unique business logo concept fashioned to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With a different head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable horse lineages in the world.

Logo layout for a software program designer the design attributes and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Cartersville logo design dsign along with an image which pulls in the attention of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t actually created for an Cartersville regional farm it was in reality created for a commodities broker, and this particular brand was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to create a graphic that projected self-confidence, success, and wealth.
Logo created for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is evocative a renowned sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the business owner to create a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
