East Point, Georgia Logo Design

Every new East Point company understands that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the crucial role their company logo will play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo works far better than another. A logo has an instant and long term influence on the growth of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help East Point, Georgia businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a East Point, Georgia coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older part of the city and hoped to cast a vintage tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two tasks via developing a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria made for East Point, Georgia medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a family members fun center in East Point, Georgia.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - designed for East Point, Georgia traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  East Point logo but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

East Point logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design realize how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of difficulties, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for East Point, Georgia book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most crucial part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it looks like that in many instances 1 of the aspects people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was certainly a success.

East Point logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Case includes an old font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this logo design I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in East Point, Georgia, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it appears that every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually enjoy doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design which communicated a feeling of calmness and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian steed logo style produced for an equine ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a one-of-a-kind logotype concept styled to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. By having an identifiable head form and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly easily identifiable equine lineages in the world.

Logo layout for a software application developer the style functions and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Progress logo design developed for a East Point, Georgia indoor developer, design attribute a series of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

logo style provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V as well as A in center of words advanced have actually been changed to link directly right into words listed below.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their East Point logo dsign utilizing a graphic that pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t really composed for an East Point, Georgia area farm it was in reality created for an investments broker, and this brand was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to design a graphic that projected esteem, effectiveness, and luxury.

East Point Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout attribute for ostensibly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the freedom to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without understanding where the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the first shot.

Logo design developed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to create a logo design which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
