Fayetteville Logo Design

Every new Fayetteville venture understands that they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the key role their business logo can make in their success, or the reason that one logo performs more effectively than another. A company logo has an immediate and long-term effect on the success of a company, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Fayetteville companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require contemplation, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Fayetteville coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an old section of the town and really wanted to cast a retro tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by means of creating a symbol design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and germs created for Fayetteville medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family members fun facility in Fayetteville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - developed for Fayetteville traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather project emotional journeys through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fayetteville logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Fayetteville logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of obstacles, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Fayetteville book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a published book given that it is often the initial thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences one of the traits consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Fayetteville logo layout used for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Fayetteville, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it appears that every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that communicated an atmosphere of simplicity and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious direction of making merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is generally the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software designer the style features and iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Fayetteville business logo dsign along with an illustration that seizes the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t really produced for an Fayetteville area farm it was in reality created for a products broker, and this business logo was one of several which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to produce a brand mark that projects confidence, success, and affluence.
Logo made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the business owner to develop a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
