Kennesaw Logo Design

Nearly every new Kennesaw company realizes that they require a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly are aware of the essential role their organization logo will perform in their success, or precisely why one logo performs better than another. A logo design has an immediate and long-term influence on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Kennesaw companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Kennesaw coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an older part of the city and wished to visualize a nostalgic feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by means of developing a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Kennesaw medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the laboratory examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog designed for a household fun facility in Kennesaw.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Kennesaw travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kennesaw logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Kennesaw logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo understand how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job has it’s portion of difficulties, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Kennesaw publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, however it is the most critical part of a published book because it is often the very first thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many cases one of the traits people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a success.

Kennesaw logo style used for advertising and a tag layout for Vintage Situation features an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this logo design I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Kennesaw, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that virtually every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to illustrate how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that related a spirit of relaxation and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is generally the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo design for a software programmer the style functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a logo is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to market their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Kennesaw logo design dsign with a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually composed for an Kennesaw regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to generate a graphic that projected confidence, success, and affluence.
Logo design made for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
