Kennesaw, Georgia Logo Design

Every new Kennesaw organization understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely grasp the pivotal role their logo can perform in their success, or why one logo performs more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the financial success of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Kennesaw, Georgia companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require deliberation, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Kennesaw, Georgia coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an old part of the area and hoped to project a vintage feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs via designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Kennesaw, Georgia clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Kennesaw, Georgia travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kennesaw logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Kennesaw logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest opinions on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their business logo recognize how important a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s portion of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Kennesaw, Georgia publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most important part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Kennesaw logo design used for advertising and marketing and also a label design for Vintage Instance features an old typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Kennesaw, Georgia, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs considering that it appears that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually enjoy doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family not-for-profit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo that projected a sense of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo style produced for an equine ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created an original organization logo design fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of horses. With a different head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately recognizable horse lineages in the entire world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, layout consists of a changed script font style which floats above a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo design for a software program developer the style features and iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Kennesaw business logo dsign using a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Kennesaw, Georgia regional farm it was in reality designed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to create a graphic that projected assurance, financial success, and wealth.

Kennesaw Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style attribute for ostensibly facing arrow as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Fortunately, in this instance, I hit a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo design developed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
