Milton Logo Design

Nearly every new Milton venture realizes that they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the pivotal role their business logo will play in their success, or exactly why one business logo works more effectively than another. A business logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Milton businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Milton coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older part of the community and hoped to cast a retro vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by means of creating a custom logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide as well as bacteria designed for Milton clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable center in Milton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Milton traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Milton logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Milton logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective viewpoints on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Milton book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the aspects people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Milton logo style made use of for advertising and a label style for Vintage Case includes an archaic font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Milton, design include an arc with lines converging via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which conveyed a spirit of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is usually the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the focus on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software application designer the layout features and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

Advance logo style created for a Milton interior developer, layout attribute a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to market their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Milton logo design dsign using an image that garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually produced for an Milton area farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to generate a brand mark that projects self-confidence, success, and luxury.
Logo developed for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
