Milton, Georgia Logo Design

Each and every new Milton business knows they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their logo design will perform in their financial success, or the reason that one logo design works better than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term impact on the prosperity of a business, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Milton, Georgia companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Milton, Georgia coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an older section of the city and wanted to visualize an old-fashioned tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by means of creating a sign concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs created for Milton, Georgia medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog created for a household enjoyable center in Milton, Georgia.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Milton, Georgia travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Milton logo but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Milton logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective judgements on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s share of hurdles, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Milton, Georgia publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most critical part of a printed book due to the fact that it is often the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems that in many instances 1 of the things folks usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of flight and it was surely a success.

Milton logo style used for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Situation features an archaic typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Milton, Georgia, style include an arc with lines converging through it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that every single dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually enjoy doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that carried a spirit of calmness and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of creating simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a business logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian equine logo style developed for a horse ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind creative logo concept fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. With a distinctive head form and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable horse lineages in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo design a tiny dining establishment, design contains a changed manuscript typeface which hovers above a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny dining establishment, style consists of a customized manuscript font style which hovers above a team of ornate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software application programmer the style features and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to sell off their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Milton business logo dsign with an image which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really developed for an Milton, Georgia regional farm it was really created for a commodities broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop a graphic that projected confidence, financial success, and luxury.

Milton Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo style function for outwardly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the opportunity to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the business owner to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
