Newnan, Georgia Logo Design

Virtually every new Newnan business professional realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners fully grasp the pivotal role their company logo can perform in their success, or exactly why one business logo works better than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term influence on the financial success of a company, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Newnan, Georgia companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.
Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Newnan, Georgia coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening in an old part of the town and wished to project a vintage feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of designing a business logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs made for Newnan, Georgia medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that examines the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family members fun center in Newnan, Georgia.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Newnan, Georgia travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Newnan logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Newnan logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective assessments on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo understand how vital a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s share of hurdles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Newnan, Georgia publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it really is the most important part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems that in many cases 1 of the items people often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was definitely a victory.

Newnan logo design used for advertising and also a tag layout for Vintage Situation features an antiquated font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Newnan, Georgia, design include an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design which projected an atmosphere of calmness and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of creating just a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to project to their clients.

Logo style for a software application programmer the layout features and iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Newnan logo dsign with a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Newnan, Georgia area farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this logo design was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to design a brand mark that projects self-assurance, financial success, and prosperity.

Newnan Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout feature for externally encountering arrow and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the opportunity to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of knowing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the first try.

Logo design made for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
