Roswell Logo Design

Virtually every new Roswell company realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly understand the essential role their company logo will take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo functions far better than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting influence on the prosperity of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Roswell companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require contemplation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Roswell coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an old section of town and hoped to project a vintage feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by means of creating a sign concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Roswell clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Roswell.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Roswell traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather project emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Roswell logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Roswell logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo design comprehend how vital a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of challenges, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Roswell publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was certainly a success.

Roswell logo design made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this brand concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Roswell, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs considering that it appears that every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which related a spirit of serenity and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious course of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo design that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the importance on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo style for a software programmer the style attributes and famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Roswell business logo dsign with an image which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really developed for an Roswell area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to generate an identity that projects self-assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo created for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is evocative a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the proprietor to design a business logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
