Roswell, Georgia Logo Design

Virtually every new Roswell business person understands that they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly comprehend the crucial role their organization’s logo can take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo performs far better than another. A business logo has an instant and long term effect on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Roswell, Georgia businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from labels to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos which work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Roswell, Georgia coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older section of the area and really wanted to cast a retro tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by means of creating a custom logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria developed for Roswell, Georgia medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a family members fun center in Roswell, Georgia.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Roswell, Georgia travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Roswell logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Roswell logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get honest viewpoints on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo understand how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Roswell, Georgia publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, but it really is the most essential part of a published book because it is usually the primary thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the things individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was definitely a winner.

Roswell logo style utilized for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Case includes an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Roswell, Georgia, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that every single dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo which carried a feeling of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious course of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is in most cases the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software application programmer the style features as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell off their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Roswell logo dsign using an image that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t really produced for an Roswell, Georgia area farm it was actually created for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to generate a brand mark that projected assurance, success, and prosperity.

Roswell Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout feature for outwardly encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without recognizing where exactly the target is. Fortunately, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo created for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
