Suwanee Logo Design

Each and every new Suwanee venture understands that they need a logo, but few new business owners fully comprehend the crucial role their logo will play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and long-term influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Suwanee businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Suwanee coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an old part of town and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by means of creating a custom logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and bacteria made for Suwanee clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical assessment of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping green frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Suwanee.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - developed for Suwanee traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Suwanee logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Suwanee logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo realize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of challenges, but the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Suwanee book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most vital part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems that in many cases one of the aspects individuals usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Suwanee logo style used for marketing and a label design for Vintage Case includes an archaic font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Suwanee, style include an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it appears that almost every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which communicated a feeling of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious direction of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather created a logo design which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the focus on the perception that they wanted to project to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo layout a small dining establishment, style consists of a changed manuscript typeface which hovers over a team of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo design for a software programmer the layout attributes and also legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Advance logo layout produced for a Suwanee interior developer, design feature a series of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Suwanee logo dsign using an illustration which pulls in the attention of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t actually created for an Suwanee regional farm it was in reality designed for an investments broker, and this particular company logo was one of a handful of which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to make an identity that projected self-confidence, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo design designed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
