Tucker, Georgia Logo Design

Nearly every new Tucker business understands that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly realize the pivotal role their organization logo can take in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo performs more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Tucker, Georgia companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Tucker, Georgia coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an old part of town and really wanted to cast a retro feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I accomplished both tasks via developing a company logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria created for Tucker, Georgia clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family fun facility in Tucker, Georgia.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Tucker, Georgia traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead reveal emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Tucker logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Tucker logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective viewpoints on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s share of challenges, however the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Tucker, Georgia book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most vital part of a published book because it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems like that in many instances 1 of the aspects individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Tucker logo style utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label design for Vintage Instance features an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Tucker, Georgia, design include an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that carried a feeling of simplicity and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design which did not go the obvious route of making merely a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the main focus on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, layout consists of a customized manuscript typeface which floats over a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software developer the style features as well as famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to market their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Tucker business logo dsign along with an image which seizes the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Tucker, Georgia area farm it was actually developed for a commodities broker, and this company was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop an identity that projects esteem, financial success, and affluence.

Tucker Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style function for ostensibly dealing with arrow as well as the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they wanted, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the opportunity to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without realizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this instance, I nailed a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo developed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
