Winder Logo Design

Nearly every new Winder organization realizes that they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the key role their company logo will perform in their success, or exactly why one logo design works far better than another. A logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the prosperity of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Winder companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Winder coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an older section of the town and hoped to visualize a retro feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs via designing a logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria created for Winder clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the clinical assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable facility in Winder.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Winder traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Winder logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Winder logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced judgements on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of challenges, however the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Winder book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most crucial part of a published book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems that in many occurrences one of the traits consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Winder logo style utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this business logo design I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Winder, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that conveyed a spirit of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious route of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the attention on the emotion that they wanted to project to their customers.

Logo design for a software application programmer the layout functions and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

Evolve logo style produced for a Winder interior developer, layout feature a collection of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

logo design provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of words advanced have actually been modified to tie directly into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Winder logo design project was done for a management specialist that enables business leaders to become more successful at overseeing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Winder logo design dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really designed for an Winder regional farm it was actually designed for a commodities broker, and this company was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to make a brand mark that projected esteem, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo created for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked directly with the owner to create a business logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
