Gilbert Logo Design

Virtually every new Gilbert business understands that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the vital role their logo will play in their success, or precisely why one logo design works far better than another. A logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the financial success of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Gilbert businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Gilbert coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and bistro were opening up in an older section of the area and hoped to project an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as boring or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks via designing a trademark concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria designed for Gilbert medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members enjoyable facility in Gilbert.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Gilbert travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Gilbert logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Gilbert logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo realize how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of hurdles, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Gilbert publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a printed book because it is usually the first thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the aspects consumers usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a spirit of flight and it was definitely a success.

Gilbert logo style used for marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Gilbert, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it seems that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that conveyed a feeling of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious path of crafting simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is usually the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application programmer the style features as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Develop logo style developed for a Gilbert interior designer, layout function a series of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of the word advanced have been modified to connect straight right into the words listed below.

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to sell off their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Gilbert logo dsign using a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually developed for an Gilbert regional farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this particular logo design was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to produce an identity that projected confidence, success, and affluence.
Logo created for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
