Green Valley Logo Design

Virtually every new Green Valley company realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly realize the vital role their company logo can make in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design performs far better than another. A company logo has an instant and long-term influence on the prosperity of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Green Valley companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require deliberation, they can be grasped in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Green Valley coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually launching in an old part of town and really wanted to project an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs via creating a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for Green Valley medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the clinical evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a household fun facility in Green Valley.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Green Valley traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather project emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Green Valley logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Green Valley logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest viewpoints on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how important a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of hurdles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Green Valley book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most vital part of a published book considering that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the traits folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Green Valley logo design used for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Green Valley, design include an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that every single dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which carried a feeling of peace and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious direction of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a company logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo design for a software programmer the style attributes as well as renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Green Valley logo dsign using an illustration that captures the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually created for an Green Valley regional farm it was actually designed for a products broker, and this particular brand was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to develop a brand mark that projected self-confidence, success, and wealth.
Logo developed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a well-known sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
