Idaho Falls Logo Design

Virtually every new Idaho Falls organization understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely comprehend the key role their logo can take in their success, or precisely why one business logo functions better than another. A company logo has an instant and lasting effect on the prosperity of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Idaho Falls companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Idaho Falls coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an older section of town and wished to cast an old-fashioned tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs via creating a trademark design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Idaho Falls clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the laboratory assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a family members enjoyable facility in Idaho Falls.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Idaho Falls travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Idaho Falls logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Idaho Falls logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest opinions on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Idaho Falls book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most crucial part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the traits consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was definitely a victory.

Idaho Falls logo style used for advertising as well as a label design for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Idaho Falls, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo projects because it appears that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design which conveyed a sense of contentment and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of designing just a stylized orchid but rather created a company logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is frequently the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Logo design for a software program designer the style attributes as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance supporting a logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Idaho Falls logo design dsign along with an illustration which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t actually designed for an Idaho Falls area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to develop a graphic that projects assurance, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the owner to create a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
