Nampa Logo Design

Each and every new Nampa business understands that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly are aware of the crucial role their logo will perform in their success, or the reason that one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting effect on the prosperity of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Nampa companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Nampa coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an old part of the town and wished to project a vintage atmosphere without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by means of developing a symbol design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and germs developed for Nampa medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical examination of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable facility in Nampa.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Nampa travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Nampa logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Nampa logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of difficulties, however the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Nampa publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a printed book given that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems like that in many cases one of the traits individuals usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a feeling of flight and it was certainly a success.

Nampa logo design used for advertising and a label style for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this business logo design I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Nampa, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo that related a feeling of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather created a business logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian steed logo layout developed for a horse cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a unique brand design fashioned to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. By having an unique head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable horse breeds in the world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo design a little restaurant, style contains a modified manuscript typeface which floats above a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo design for a software programmer the design functions and also famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Advance logo style created for a Nampa interior developer, layout feature a series of red circles that intersect and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Nampa logo dsign using an image which garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really produced for an Nampa regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular company logo was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to make a brand mark that projected confidence, success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
