Post Falls Logo Design

Each and every new Post Falls company realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully comprehend the crucial role their organization logo can play in their financial success, or why one logo performs better than another. A company logo has an instant and long term effect on the growth of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Post Falls companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Post Falls coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an older part of the area and really wanted to visualize a nostalgic vibe without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks by creating a logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and bacteria created for Post Falls clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable center in Post Falls.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - made for Post Falls travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Post Falls logo but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Post Falls logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest opinions on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of obstacles, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Post Falls book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most crucial part of a published book since it is often the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many cases 1 of the traits individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of air travel and it was surely a success.

Post Falls logo design used for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Situation features an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Post Falls, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it appears that each and every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which communicated an atmosphere of contentment and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of creating simply a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a company logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo design for a software designer the layout functions as well as legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

logo design provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V and also A in center of words advanced have been modified to tie straight right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Post Falls logo design job was carried out for a management advisor that enables business leaders to become more successful at handling people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to market their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Post Falls logo dsign using a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really produced for an Post Falls area farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to design a graphic that projects self-assurance, financial success, and affluence.
Logo made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
