Country Club Hills Logo Design

Each and every new Country Club Hills business realizes that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely understand the essential role their business logo will perform in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo performs far better than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term influence on the prosperity of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Country Club Hills companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Country Club Hills coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an old section of the community and hoped to visualize a vintage vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks via developing a company logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and germs made for Country Club Hills clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in Country Club Hills.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Country Club Hills traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Country Club Hills logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Country Club Hills logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I really enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo understand how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s portion of difficulties, however the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Country Club Hills book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most critical part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects consumers tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a sense of flight and it was surely a victory.

Country Club Hills logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Case features an antiquated font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Country Club Hills, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it appears that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate precisely how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that communicated a feeling of contentment and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious course of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead created a company logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the attention on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Logo design for a software program designer the layout functions and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell off their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Country Club Hills logo dsign using an illustration which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually developed for an Country Club Hills regional farm it was really devised for a commodities broker, and this particular trademark was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to create a graphic that projected assurance, success, and affluence.
Logo created for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
