Evergreen Park Logo Design

Virtually every new Evergreen Park company understands that they require a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly grasp the essential role their organization logo will take in their becoming successful, or why one logo design performs far better than another. A company logo has an instant and lasting effect on the prosperity of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Evergreen Park businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Evergreen Park coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an older section of the town and hoped to project a nostalgic tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by creating a business logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs designed for Evergreen Park clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog made for a family members enjoyable facility in Evergreen Park.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - designed for Evergreen Park traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Evergreen Park logo design but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Evergreen Park logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective judgements on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo design understand how vital a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo project has it’s share of hurdles, however the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Evergreen Park book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is often the very first thing a person sees in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many cases one of the items people often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of flight and it was surely a success.

Evergreen Park logo style made use of for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Situation features an antiquated typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Evergreen Park, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that each and every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that communicated a sense of relaxation and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious direction of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a business logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the main focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo design for a software application programmer the style features and also famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to sell their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Evergreen Park logo design dsign with a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually created for an Evergreen Park area farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this company was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to make a image that projected assurance, financial success, and affluence.
Logo developed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
