Glendale Heights Logo Design

Every new Glendale Heights venture knows they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully comprehend the essential role their company logo can take in their success, or precisely why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and sustaining influence on the success of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Glendale Heights companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Glendale Heights coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older section of the community and hoped to visualize a retro vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two jobs via creating a symbol design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Glendale Heights clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a family members enjoyable facility in Glendale Heights.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for Glendale Heights travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Glendale Heights logo design but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Glendale Heights logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial opinions on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Glendale Heights book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, however it is the most essential part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the aspects consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Glendale Heights logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label layout for Vintage Case includes an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Glendale Heights, layout include an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo which communicated an atmosphere of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software program programmer the design features and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the significance behind a logo is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell off their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Glendale Heights logo dsign along with an image which pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually composed for an Glendale Heights regional farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this company was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to produce a graphic that projects assurance, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo created for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a renowned sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
